This listing is for a brand new Kama Sutra chess set based on the ancient Indian Hindu text widely considered to be the standard work on human sexual behaviour in Sanskrit literature written by Vātsyāyana.

Beautifully detailed and depicting many of the famous illustrations from the text this is perfect gift for the more discerning chess set collector and is most certainly a talking point!

Construction:

Each set is hand cast in a hard and durable natural mineral giving a lovely carved stone like feel, painted, stained and lacquered to give a durable high quality result yet still retaining a certain ceramic and antique finish.

Colours available:

Unless you specify otherwise the colours for these pieces are Antique Red for the dark and Aged Sandstone for the light. If you would prefer Jet Black or Deep Walnut instead of the red, or the stone, then just let me know and I'll be more than happy to oblige.... In fact, you can mix and match any of these colours if you like. If you'd like any colours that aren't listed here then let me know before you purchase and I'm sure I'd be able to accommodate you.

The king is 5 inches in height and the set, unpacked, weighs approx 2 KG and would suit a board with squares approx 1.8 inches or more.

Vinyl Chess Mat:

This set also comes with an optional vinyl chess mat/board so you can start playing as soon as you receive it. This is a black and white mat with 2 inch squares and is tough, durable and wipe clean.

If you would like this option then simply select it when purchasing.

Packaging:

Each piece is individually wrapped in bubble wrap and then the whole set. This is then packed in a sturdy cardboard box into which is packed polystyrene peanuts for extra padding.

Sets are usually dispatched within a couple of working days, unless you specify an unusual colour in which case you might, but not always, have to wait an extra day. Also, it is worth noting that customers quite often receive their sets before the estimated delivery date.
